American
Kilns, Inc. is a privately held company which manufactures and markets complete
pre-engineered and packaged radio frequency vacuum kilns for the wood products
industry. The complete engineering, design, fabrication and assembly is performed
in-house, utilizing the resources of several "Nemeth Companies."
Peter
Nemeth, president and owner, brings a varied experience in radio frequency technology
to the task of manufacturing high quality RF Vacuum wood drying equipment. Nemeth
is a graduate of the University of Louisville and has been involved in the RF
woodworking equipment industry for over 36 years.
Rick
Dixon, project sales manager for American Kilns, Inc. has 22 years experience
in small business management, sales and marketing, and the service-related industry.
Rick is a 1974 graduate of Western Carolina University. He holds a Bachelor of
Science degree in Business Administration
Mr.
Nemeth owns Nemeth Engineering Associates, Inc., a twenty year old Louisville,
KY firm engaged in the design and manufacture of RF equipment for the automotive
industry. Including Nemeth Engineering Associates, there are five sister companies
involved in the radio frequency/ microwave industry in one capacity or another.
MicroDry, Inc., Nemeth's oldest company designs, builds and installs microwave
food drying and automotive assembly equipment.
L&L
Machinery, Inc. manufactures radio frequency glue presses for the furniture industry.
L&L Machinery, as a division of Modern Globe Manufacturing began building
RF machines in the late 1960's. Peter Nemeth purchased the company from Modern
Globe in 1992. Two additional companies in Hungary owned by Nemeth are Tungsten
Electronic, KFT, and Nemeth Vacuum Electronics, KFT. Both of these companies manufacture
oscillator tubes, capacitors and rectifiers for the RF industry in Europe.
